Why do home prices keep going up?

Supply and demand!

We have HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people looking for a home.

Yet for every TEN buyers there is only one home available.

Stated another way:

For every ONE house that hits the market TEN buyers are lining up to put an offer in.

Obviously, this creates a bidding war.

When will this end?

There are two scenarios:

1) demand suddenly stops (interest rates or a recession could cause this

2) supply suddenly increases (foreclosures or a massive amount of new builds could cause this)

The only way this madness will stop is if there is one house for every one or two buyers.

Other wise prices will climb 🧗‍♀️
