Dear Mark Zuckerberg,
What is happening with Facebook lately is defeating the very original purpose that made many of us love this platform in the first place β connecting with friends, family, and people we truly care about.
When I open Facebook now, instead of seeing my friends, their updates, their lives, and the people I intentionally chose to connect with, I am flooded with advertisements, suggested posts, and content that means very little to me.
The beauty of Facebook was always simple: real connection. Seeing what friends are doing, celebrating their milestones, sharing life, and staying close even from far away.
Many of us care far less about endless advertisements and random suggestions. We want our original Facebook back β where friendship came first, not algorithms and distractions.
Please bring back a stronger focus on real friends, real connections, and the reason Facebook became meaningful to millions of people.
Friends first. Connection first. That is the Facebook many of us still hope for
