This snow-covered photo says it all.

What started back in February finally made it to the closing table, making this the most challenging transaction I’ve handled to date. There were countless hurdles, difficult negotiations, and moments when it felt like we might never get there.

One thing this transaction reinforced for me is how important it is to surround yourself with the right team. Real estate isn’t a solo sport. When challenges arise, you need professionals who stay focused, keep pushing forward, and refuse to give up when the path gets difficult.

A huge shoutout to Courtney Delaney, my client’s lender, who helped hold this transaction together from start to finish. Her dedication, persistence, and unwavering support for both my client and me made all the difference. There were many moments along the way when her guidance helped keep this deal moving forward.

Without a strong team, there’s a good chance my client never would have made it to the closing table.

Today, though, none of the obstacles matter. What matters is that my client and her family are officially in their new home and ready to begin an exciting new chapter.

This one wasn’t the easiest, but it was worth it. ✨

After taking some time to gain momentum, my seller was able to get this home under contract. Along the way, she navigated inspection challenges and a few unexpected hurdles, but my seller never gave up. She trusted the process, persevered through the tough moments, and made it to the finish line.

I used to think success in real estate looked one specific way (aka being a top producer who sells hundreds of homes per year).

Turns out, I was trying to build someone else’s dream business.

Then I realized my dream business looks like this: clients who feel genuinely taken care of, a schedule that lets me show up for my kids, concert tickets without the guilt, and a career I’d actually choose again.
