Born in Deerfield and raised in Northbrook, Carla’s connections to the communities are unparalleled. She has family ties to Deerfield dating back to the late 1800s, where her great grandfather and uncles served the community as volunteer firefighters in the 1900s. She also has fond memories of Salvi’s Caravel in Northbrook, owned by her mother’s family, and Tonelli’s, owned by her great uncle’s family. A graduate of Glenbrook North High School, Carla also lived in Deerfield for more than ten years as an adult. Carla began as a realtor in 2008 and joined Berkshire Hathaway in 2016, earning her real estate license while she worked as a flight attendant for ten years. Her father, a retired realtor, mentored Carla as she learned the ins and outs during a downturn in the market. Since then, she’s participated in advanced real estate coursework, including earning certification as a Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and an E-pro certification. She also trained in a new program called QuickBuy®, which offers sellers options to sell their homes quickly. Most recently, Carla earned recognition as a Million Dollar Agent in her local office. In addition, she was selected as one of two ambassadors in Northbrook for the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago Kindness Foundation. Carla is also an award winner for 2022 Five Star Professional. Hands-on throughout the entire process, Carla remains at her clients’ side from beginning to long after the moving trucks have left. When not working, Carla stays busy spending time with family, friends, and her dog. She loves taking adventures; she’s traveled to 37 states and 13 countries so far.
