Our Glenville NY Short Term Rental

We are staying at a Short Term Rental in the Boston area.

It’s VERY nice inside.

But seeing so many extra touches that we added to our rental that this place needs!!

I can only find 4 forks plus a baby fork. No small plates. Really very few kitchen items though they stated it was “stocked”. No coat rack or coat closet or wall hooks. No exterior lights upon our arrival. The place sleeps 6, but the dining table sits 4. Refrigerator ice maker doesn’t work, but only one ice tray. No tissues anywhere. No hand towels in the bathroom.

We value our repeat visitors. It's such a compliment that previous guests liked the house so much that they want to stay again.

We have worked so hard on our rental and continue to update her so I love seeing reviews like this!! These folks just left town this morning and reviewed the house right away.

This is the 4th time that the power has gone out while we have had a guest. Ironically, the 2nd for this particular guest. This is why we put a whole home generator at this house! Welcome to Glenville. 🤦🏼‍♀️

New and expanded deck is almost complete!

No more tiny patch of grass and ugly downspout. We had a pipe put under the new sidewalk and through the front yard to the drainage ditch.

Of course, now we have bald patches and are seeding again. Someday we will have a full lawn!

New driveway and walkway to the house!

Old driveway is gone. New driveway is graded. Packing and paving is tomorrow.

Our short term rental had been “Top 5% of Homes” on AirBnB - which I thought was great. But tonight, I noticed our rental is now listed as “Top 1%”! 😊
