Fine artwork by renowned artist, Mark Balma is now available for your collection.

Mark is one of the world’s leading fresco painters. A Minnesota native who now resides in Assisi, he incorporates techniques of the early Renaissance into portraits, fresco murals and studio works: A very complex process.

Mark uses an early Renaissance technique of oil painting pioneered by Leonardo da Vinci, which is composed of many layers of hand-ground paint superimposed upon each other in a secret mixture of essential oils and resin.

He is known for his large-scale sacred and civic works, including commissions at the Vatican, The Cathedral of Saint Paul, the Basilica of St. Mary, the University of St. Thomas and currently at Our Lady of Grace in Edina. (See Star Trib article)

Paul Huber, owner of Huber Funeral Homes, along with his dad, John Huber, originally commissioned Mark for a 15' wide by 8' tall fresco at their Excelsior chapel. Later, Mark and other artists completed (5) more frescos for the Eden Prairie Chapel. Those (5) frescos are now for sale with valuations actually done by Mark Balma, himself.

'Greg, is Zillow accurate?' Short answer: Nope.

I've been in real estate since 2006. After years in the music business, I know contracts, negotiations and accurate valuations.

Zillow? Not so much. Zestimates (they're called) are all over the place: Sometimes 25 to 100 K under valued, sometimes 25 to 100 K over valued.
