It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of David Hawkins, a valued member of our community, on December 1, 2024. David was well-known for his positive attitude, Southern charm, and humor and was also an integral part of our industry. His contributions will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
A service to honor David’s life and legacy will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79109. For those who knew David, it will be an opportunity for us to come together, celebrate David’s life, and offer our support to his family during this difficult time.

We extend our deepest sympathies to David’s family, friends, and colleagues. He will be greatly missed.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Dave Yolton 🌟

Celebrating over 50 years in the industry, Dave Yolton has been a cornerstone of the cooling tower world since 1974. As one of the original team members at Cooling Tower Depot, Dave has worn many hats—leadership, estimating, project management, and sales—mastering all aspects of engineering and construction in the industry.

In recent years, Dave has focused his attention on sales in the ethanol and steel industry. Outside of work, he’s tackled Ride the Rockies three times, and when he's not discussing cooling towers or riding bikes, you might find him indulging in his love for fine bourbon
