Have you noticed the orange signs, milling machines, and paving crews around town this week? It's officially happening! This week, work kicked off on a massive, town-wide roadway transformation. ๐ฃ๏ธ
We're thrilled to share that ๐ก๐๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ has begun its major resurfacing project โ and it will repave ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ state-maintained (NCDOT) road within the Town of La Grange!
And it gets even better: paired with the Town's own planned street work, this is the ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐. Get ready for smoother rides, safer commutes, and a fresh look for our whole community! โจ

โข ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐๐บ๐ฝ & ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐: Crews mill the road about 1.5 inches deep before laying the fresh asphalt surface. Take milled edges and rough spots slowly.
