My name is Loren Wernette.
I run REI Transactional. We lend money to real estate investors and builders in NC, SC, and GA.
I started this company because banks kept saying no to good deals.
The deal made sense. The property was solid. The investor knew what they were doing. But the bank had too many rules. Too many committees. Too much time. Investors were losing deals because their lender was too slow. Builders were missing out because banks took 60 days just to give an answer.
That wasn't okay with me.
So I built REI Transactional to do it differently. When a deal makes sense, we say yes. And we close fast.
This page is where I'll share what I see in the market. What makes a deal work. What gets loans funded -- and what gets them killed.
No fluff. Just real talk from someone who does this every day.
