Auction NC Realty is excited and proud to welcome Grey Morgan as the newest member to our team! Grey is a lifelong resident of Duplin County and presently lives in the Mount Olive, NC area. In 1975, he graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a concentration in real estate.
Upon graduation, Grey began employment with Farm Credit, where he worked for 11 years. Following his employment with Farm Credit, Grey worked as a commercial banker for 35 years with reputable financial institutions such as United Carolina Bank, RBC Centura, and finally Southern Bank. In 2009, Grey had the honor to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of Southern Bank and served faithfully in this role until his retirement in 2020.
In addition to banking, he owned and operated a contract swine farm with Prestige Farms for approximately 30 years. Grey is widely known throughout Eastern North Carolina in the agriculture and finance industries for his extensive knowledge and insight. Furthermore, through his experience, he is well-informed of local real estate market dynamics and trends.
