When I had the idea to turn Casey’s Hideaway into an art themed furnished property I knew it would be a work in progress. I’ve had these posters for years and didn’t know what to do with them. They weren’t quite ready to frame and have been in storage since about a week after my guest checked in. Having a few days between stays allows me to make improvements on the property that I can’t do while it’s occupied.

What could have been a quick dust off turned into an hour of scrubbing and days without cushions on an outdoor couch. The majority of a pet fee goes to cleaning, but sometimes it goes towards replacing things like couch cushions you couldn’t get cleaned.

I struggle with my desire to have all of the natural light in the day, but privacy and darkness when I’m trying to sleep. Maybe alarm clock blinds are the answer. Do they make those? 😂

🔔 The guest staying at Kathy’s hideaway has already added a bell to the “guestbook.” She’s perfect, even with her very obvious imperfection.

I tried my best to not have to work today, but this modem and router had other plans.

The guest tried restarting them, but I swear it’s like a combination lock nobody has the code to. Glad I was able to get it figured out instead of having to wait for a technician.
