Hoping that local and state officials will have a swift and successful plan to effectively manage the situation along 119. 🙏🏽 For those visiting the area or traversing Lake Shore Drive, please know that the road is open:

Harbor Springs north to Terpening
Stutsmanville north to Island View
Division north to Cross Village (Division is dirt and seasonal)

So if planning a spring visit from the South, expect the following: Leave Harbor Springs and proceed north, follow the short detour between Terpening and Stutsmanville (approx. 6 minutes), then follow 119 north through Good Hart to Island View!

We are very saddened to report that an area of Tunnel of Trees M-119 has collapsed due to excessive rain fall combined with snow melt (just south of Division between Cross Village and Good Hart). This comes after a partial shut down of the road earlier in the week south of Stutsmanville, also due to spring erosion. Our thoughts are with friends in Pellston and Cheboygan who are far facing worse situations. 🙏🏽
