Whether it’s finding my clients a new home or the right buyer for their current home, I pride myself on understanding their needs and finding the right fit. Before entering a career in real estate, I worked in the tech industry in areas ranging from software development to business operations. During that time, I learned that what you do matters not just to the people working around you but to those impacted by what you put into the world. I’d like to positively impact my clients by finding the right home for them and making the process as stress-free as possible. My wife (also a real estate agent) and I moved to the valley in 2019 after raising our children in the Kansas City area. Together we have four kids, two girls and two boys, aged 25 - 28. When I’m away from work, I enjoy video games, 3D modeling, and hanging out with our two dogs.

A seller concession is when the seller agrees to cover some of your costs, like closing costs or a rate buydown, instead of just lowering the price. For a West Valley buyer, that can mean less cash needed at the closing table.

When is it worth asking?

1. When a home has been sitting on the market for a while.
2. When you are a bit tight on cash to close but strong on the monthly payment.
3. When you would rather buy down your interest rate than shave a few thousand off the price.

One caution: concessions have limits based on your loan type, so your lender and I map out what actually helps you most before we write the offer.

2. A bridge loan or a HELOC to access your equity before the sale closes.
3. Buy first, sell after, if your income and reserves support both for a short window.

Each path has tradeoffs on cost, risk, and timing, so the right move depends on your numbers and the market when you go.
