Many Realtors have taken my class "Is that pony a pet? Understanding assistance animals" where I reviewed HUD's FHEO 2020-01: Assessing a Person’s Request to Have an Animal as a Reasonable Accommodation Under the Fair Housing Act. This guidance was withdrawn by HUD, which might create confusion on what to ask and not ask when assessing a situation. Take a look at what they said.
