Zeke’s Retreat is safe and has not been impacted by the fire. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the immense amount of effort, dedication, and bravery from our local volunteer fire department and all of the first responders who have worked tirelessly to protect our community, homes, and properties. They have truly gone above and beyond, and we cannot thank them enough. 🙏🏼🚒❤️

We are continuing to keep a close eye on the situation. Zeke’s Retreat is safe and standing strong.

The KEY word is VOLUNTEER 🔥🚒
We are so PROUD to be a small part of this amazing PK Family 🩷💜❤️

Here is the easiest way to help the Volunteer Fire Departments across Palo Pinto County. Please consider a financial contribution to any of the departments to aid in the recovery of this disaster.

🔥🚒 ROSS FIRE — OUR FIREFIGHTERS NEED US NOW. 🚒🔥

While many of us are watching the smoke, worrying about our homes and loved ones, our volunteer firefighters are running toward the fire.

They are working long hours, putting themselves in harm’s way, and fighting to protect our families, our homes, and our community.

Now it’s our turn to stand behind them. ❤️

Wildfires destroy more than land — they take a toll on hoses, trucks, equipment, fuel, and supplies.

As posted from Rocker B Ranch…

Rocker B Ranch is safe — thanks to the incredible efforts of our first responders and community.

❤️‍🔥 OUR COMMUNITY HAS SHOWN UP — NOW LET’S KEEP SHOWING UP FOR OUR FIREFIGHTERS. ❤️‍🔥

The Possum Kingdom VFD is currently covered up with water, Gatorade, snacks, meals, and supplies. Our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude for every single person who has donated, cooked, delivered, prayed, or simply asked, “What can we do?” 🙏❤️

Right now, the greatest need is CASH DONATIONS.

The men and women fighting these fires are putting their trucks, equipment, hoses, and everything they have on the line. Hoses burn, trucks need repairs, equipment gets damaged, and the costs of responding to a major fire add up quickly.

If you would like to help, a monetary donation can go directly toward burned hoses, truck repairs, equipment, fuel, and other needs that help our firefighters keep doing what they do best — protecting our community.

💰 Venmo:

Please consider donating whatever you can. $10, $25, $50, $100 — every dollar matters.

And please keep our firefighters, first responders, their families, and everyone affected by these fires in your prayers. 🙏

THANK YOU, POSSUM KINGDOM.
You have already shown what an incredible community this is. Let’s continue taking care of the people who are taking care of us. ❤️🇺🇸

❤️🔥 From all of us at Zeke’s Retreat, THANK YOU.

As we watch the devastation and uncertainty surrounding the Ross Fire, our hearts are filled with an overwhelming amount of gratitude for every single first responder, firefighter, law enforcement officer, emergency worker, volunteer, dispatcher, utility worker, and every person who has stepped up to help.

To the men and women who are putting themselves in harm’s way while others are trying to get to safety — we see you, we appreciate you, and we are incredibly grateful for you.

To those fighting the flames, protecting homes and ranches, helping families evacuate, keeping roads safe, caring for animals, providing shelter, delivering supplies, and supporting our communities behind the scenes — thank you.

And to the families of these brave men and women who are waiting, worrying, and supporting them while they do this work — thank you, too. Your sacrifice matters.

We know there are so many people working tirelessly right now, often without recognition. Please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed.

From our little piece of Possum Kingdom Lake, Zeke’s Retreat sends love, prayers, and an enormous THANK YOU to every person helping our community through this fire. ❤️

Please stay safe. Take care of one another. Check on your neighbors. And keep the firefighters, first responders, families, ranchers, and everyone affected by this fire in your thoughts and prayers.

We are stronger when we stand together. ❤️🇺🇸
