One of the biggest misconceptions in Granada Hills real estate is how Granada Hills Charter schools actually work.

Granada Hills Charter K-8 is lottery based only.
You must apply and be selected through the lottery system.

But Granada Hills Charter High School (GHCHS) is completely different.

If you buy a home inside the Granada Hills Charter High School boundary area, your property qualifies as a boundary home for attendance eligibility.
GHCHS also has a separate lottery system for students outside the boundary.

That difference matters BIG TIME for home buyers, home values, and demand in Granada Hills CA.
