Wendy is a Native Texan who grew up on a farm in a small Texas town. During those formatable years on the farm, her parents instilled in her the value of hard work, honesty, integrity and the tenacity to succee
d and accomplish her goals. Growing up in a small town she learned the importance of what it meant to be a part of a community, taking care of your family, neighbors and building lifelong friendships. In 2004, Wendy alongside her husband Darren they relocated to the picturesque community of Granbury, Texas. With a passion for real estate and dedication to service, in 2006 Wendy formally made the official leap into a new real estate career and loved it from the start. Eager to expand her expertise and leadership in the industry, in 2012 Wendy also obtained her Real Estate Broker’s license. Magnolia Realty, which was founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines began the expansion of their real estate division in 2017. The first real estate office outside of Waco was in Granbury, Texas and that is when Wendy first joined brokerage as a realtor. Her journey progressed, and in 2019, she leveraged the opportunity to ascend to the position of Broker for the Granbury office. Wendy's trajectory continued, and by 2020, she distinguished herself further by acquiring a franchise of Magnolia Realty, thus becoming the Broker and Owner of the Granbury office which she is still currently the Broker | Owner. Upon assuming the role of Broker and Owner, Wendy has cultivated great pride in the operations of her real estate office. She is aware that their clients are the cornerstone of everything they do. Understanding this, Wendy believes in the continuous professional development of her agents and support staff while embodying a high level of integrity, care, diligence for each client they serve. “For us, real estate is not just a transaction; it's about making a positive impact on lives, one home at a time. She believes that Realtors/Brokers serve a vital role in our communities and that is why she has chosen to serve on many different local committees and boards. Wendy’s current Service: Granbury Association of Realtors Board Member, Habitat for Humanity Family Selection Committee, President of the Lake Granbury Area Beautification Council. She has been involved with many other local organizations over the years as well. Wendy is also a proud alumna of Tarleton State University where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. When Wendy is not working she enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling, photography and spending time with family and friends.
