Interest rates matter. But they’re only one piece of the homebuying decision.

The better question isn’t just, “What’s the rate?”
It’s, “Does buying a home make sense for me right now?”

Your monthly payment, budget, how long you plan to stay, the home itself, the local market, and your overall financial goals all deserve a place in that conversation.

Waiting for the “perfect” rate can also mean waiting on the rest of your life. And buying simply because a rate looks good doesn’t automatically make it the right time either.
