Unfortunately, termite swarming season is upon us. They are drawn to lights so keep curtains closed and as many lights off as possible. This does not mean you have termites eating your home. And keep the vaccum or shop vac handy…they are disgusting!

URGENT MESSAGE !

With the temperatures dipping below freezing the next few days, please remember to remove your water hose from the outside faucet & cover the faucet with the styrofoam covers that each house should have. If you do not have the styrofoam covers, please wrap faucets with old tshirts, towels etc, then cover that with a plastic bag & secure with duct tape!

Also, please leave your kitchen & bathroom sink cabinet doors open to allow the heat to filter closer to the pipes. However, please use caution with any detergents, poisons or chemicals in those cabinets if you have small children or snoopy animals.

Please make sure you know where the main water meter to your house is and know how to turn it completely off in case of an emergency. Plumbers will probably be backed up this week so we want everyone to have water, be safe & stay warm! If you have any questions, please contact your landlord.

Termite swarming occurs every year the first few weeks of May. Keep all lights off inside and outside and you can help prevent any swarming inside. A swarm inside does not automatically indicate a presence of an active cooony in your home but inspections are always helpful.

It sits on 1 acre with a fenced in back yard, a storage shed on site , all new floors, stove , interior doors, other extras. Lots of storage in the kitchen.
