This weekend has been extra special!

Today, I had the tremendous honor of graduating from Agape Faith Bible Training Center .birchrunmi with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies.

Although I have other degrees, this one is most special. Going to Bible College was never about getting the degree for me, but it was always about growing as a person and learning how to walk boldly into my Kingdom assignment. 👑

Although this chapter has come to a close, I can’t help but think that this is only the beginning. ✨

Thank you so much to everyone who loved and supported me along the way! 👩🏽‍🎓

On February 25, I’m participating in the Coldest Night of the Year, a winter walk fundraiser that supports the hungry, homeless, and hurting in my community. I’m walking for some friends of mine who I’d love to introduce you to.

The Shelter of Flint has been instrumental in fighting against homelessness and providing resources to the Flint community since 1983. It is no secret that families experiencing homelessness in Flint are ever increasing. With more than 200 men, women, and children experiencing homelessness and living in an emergency shelter in Flint alone, organizations such as The Shelter of Flint are in need of our support more than ever before.

So, will you consider joining the fight by making a donation?

The Christmas season is truly one of the most wonderful times of the year! Not only are families gathering to celebrate the birth of Christ, but it is also a time for everyone to come together and decorate.

Putting up the tree and decorating the house has become my of my favorite favorite family traditions. In more recent years, I’ve appointed myself as the head decorator and even convinced my family to put the tree up much sooner than their norm. 😆

As I tour properties, I am always intrigued, and even a bit inspired, by the various ways in which people decorate their homes. Once again, it’s the everything for me!

Floor plans are literally the start of everything. Without a floor plan, there is no home. Open concept floor plans differ from traditional layouts by eliminating walls and barriers leaving for more of an open, airy feel.

Although I am definitely more of an open concept girl, traditional floor plans are tried and true!

The custom pool industry is a multibillion dollar industry in the United States. 🤯
features shows detailing the design and installation process. I would gladly take both an indoor and outdoor pool!

The terms contemporary and modern are commonly used interchangeably when referring to the design of a home.

The terms actually refer to two very different ideas… Modern refers to a home was built during a specific period of time (e.g. mid-century modern, built between 1932 and 1970).

Contemporary, on the other hand, refers to the style most popular at that time.

Although both have unique qualities, I tend to lean toward contemporary homes.
