The last 3 days I drove all around our wonderful state 🚗🍁 delivering pumpkin pies to clients. I'll be honest, it's a lot. It's draining. But it's SO worth it! 🥧

📞 A random Thursday call turned into one of the most meaningful closings I’ve had.

As I drove to Detroit for my son’s QB/WR camp at Ford Field (put on by the 🦁 Detroit Lions!), I got a call from a Monroe-area agent. She had a friend relocating from Vermont to work at Van Andel Institute 🧬 and needed someone they could trust in Grand Rapids.

She’d had a rough experience the weekend before and felt disillusioned by the market. That’s when my lender friend Kevin Lovell (originally from Monroe) said, “You’ve gotta call Corey Dean.” 🙌

⚙️ While watching my son at camp and even during a Tigers game 🐯, I coordinated calls, got paperwork signed, and set up a virtual showing plan with the buyer’s mom.

⏱️ The timeline?

🏃‍♂️Saw 5 properties Saturday, including sneaking in the one they eventually got midstream (after driving 2.5 hours!) & 2 more on Sunday
🏡 Found the one they loved
✍️ Negotiated a deal BELOW LIST & got the seller to pay off a 5-year roof assessment!
🧾 Had the inspection completed the very next day (📣 Shout out to Grand Home Inspection!)
