Today I visited with Ron Galstad, from Galstad, Jensen & McCann, P.A. They have been in business in East Grand Forks since 1996 and provide legal services in Minnesota and North Dakota. He has been the City Attorney since 2000 and also represents clients for probate, estates planning, real estate and business matters.

I needed a fun fact, so I asked him if they have a special on divorces? Laughing, he replied, “partner Patti Jensen specializes in Family Law in both states and our slogan is “You are just a divorce away from finding your soul mate!”

When I asked him, “what do you wish EGF knew more about your company”? He replied, “Patti Jensen is the best in the business and our small firm is second to none. The firm also gives back to the legal community by accepting interns from the University of North Dakota to provide them with a practical learning experience during their legal education.”

I asked him to tell me why he thinks East Grand Forks is a great community. He stated that, “East Grand Forks is a great community because we have a hometown atmosphere, friendly, caring people, and many family amenities such as great parks, swimming pool, ball fields and affordable recreation programs. The schools in EGF are second to none. The downtown area is a great place to hang out and get a meal, drink, or see a movie in luxury. In fact, GJM is conveniently located within minutes of the best food and beverages in town which explains why clients often schedule appointments around mealtime!”

I asked, “if someone needs a lawyer, tell me why they should come to your firm”, He replied, “we are a respected and well-established law firm that is familiar with the court system, community, and truly care about our clients; we provide personal attention to your case.”
