I then went on to graduate from the University of North Dakota, triple majoring with Summa Cum Laude distinction in Accounting, Investments, and Financial and Banking Economics. While in college, I had the amazin
g experience of owning and operating the local College Pro Painters Franchise, having one of the highest customer satisfactory ratings in the country, we served over 65 local home owners! While in college, I also had the opportunity to serve as the President of the Student Managed Investment Fund, leading the management of a $1.2 million portfolio and gaining real life experience in investing. After graduation, I went on to earn my Certified Public Account (CPA) licensure and moved to Minneapolis where I began my professional career at Deloitte and Touche LLP, providing attestation services to clients in the construction, aggregate, banking, aerospace & defense, and education industries. Last summer, after my wife Lucy and I had our first child, Albert, we knew it was time to make our way home to Grand Forks. I’ve always loved real estate and since a kid was always interested in getting involved in the family business, and now was the perfect opening. I am excited to use my experience, knowledge, inquisitiveness, and passion to better serve our community! After leaving Grand Forks for 8 years, I move back to my native city in 2015 and joined Crary Real Estate. Prior to moving home, I was a Senior Transaction Coordinator at Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate Services in St. In this position I represented corporate clients in specific submarkets. I represented our clients in Phoenix, Tucson, Salt Lake City, Denver, Hawaii, Houston and Dallas. I completed over 125 lease renewals as well as over 85 acquisitions and relocations. My estimated transaction value in this role is placed over $30,000,000. Before living in St. Louis, I was a resident of Washington DC. I moved to DC to intern for National Student Leadership. In this role I traveled both domestically and internationally helping in the production of leadership forums, specifically targeted toward college students. Upon completing the internship, I was named Director of the Congressional Fellow Program which recruited and placed student leaders in working positions for members of the United States Congress. Prior to my time in DC, I attend Bethel University in St. Paul Minnesota where I majored in marketing and entrepreneurship. As a student I traveled abroad and completed a semester at Bond University in Australia. I spent my summer months as a construction laborer working on the concrete crew for Affinity Builders. Born and raised in Grand Forks, I have been blessed to grow up in a community that I love. After graduating from Red River High School, I attended college at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing. After college, I moved back to Grand Forks to attend the University of North Dakota where I received my Masters in Business Administration (MBA). During this time I also worked as a manager at the Wild Hog Smokehouse Bar and Grill, and obtained my Real Estate license. In 2014, I earned the Crary Real Estate Rookie of the year. My husband, David, and I had our first child, Ophelia, last June. Between her and being a Realtor, I also serve on the boards of the Grand Forks Salvation Army and the North Dakota Museum of Art. I enjoy being involved and giving back to the community that has given so much to me!
