1. You'll suddenly have VERY strong opinions about whether Grand Forks or East Grand Forks has the better side of the river.

2. You'll start saying “it’s not that cold” while everyone else is wearing three layers.

3. You'll defend your favorite Grand Forks restaurant like it’s a personal family member.

4. You'll become weirdly invested in UND hockey and suddenly know way more about college hockey than you ever expected.

5. You'll run into someone you know at Target, Scheels, or downtown and realize... yep, Grand Forks really is that small.
