Have you heard about Colorado Mesa University’s Formation District? This new mixed-use district is designed to create a more connected area around CMU, bringing together housing, dining, businesses, education, and community spaces right here in Grand Junction.

And it’s not just a future plan—the first pieces are already open!

🎓 Centennial Village Apartments opened for the Fall 2026 semester
🍴 Ember Eatery/Food Hall is also part of the first phase

Juniper Grove is bringing new affordable homeownership opportunities right here on the Western Slope.
Part of the Salt Flats development, this community from Rural Homes Colorado (in partnership with the City of Grand Junction) will offer ~48 deed-restricted homes designed for local working families and individuals earning up to 100% of Area Median Income.
✨ Highlights:
• Mix of single-family detached homes and duplexes
• Modern, energy-efficient modular construction (built by Fading West)
• Homes starting in the upper $200s
• Three practical floor plans (~950–1,200 sq ft)
• Down payment assistance programs available
