For 25 years, I have kept this newspaper from September 12, 2001.

It is a tangible reminder of a day that changed our country—and countless families—forever. We remember the lives that were lost, the courage of the first responders, and the strength shown by ordinary people who helped one another during an unimaginable tragedy.

September 11 reminds us how precious life is and how important it is to value our relationships, our communities, and the time we share with those we love.

Today, we pause to remember and honor all those whose lives were forever changed.
