Hi! It’s me 👋 I’m Cait, the face behind Hodge Homes.

I wanted to reintroduce myself here because I’ve been meeting so many new beautiful faces recently! Spring market is here and things are getting busy. I love this time of year because people really come alive when they start to defrost (at least those of us in Michigan 🤣). Sure, we are more active in the warmer months and it’s easier to move. But really… people, just like plants, bloom this time of year. So many people feel like they can dream a little… they can set and chase new goals in this season. I’m here👏for👏it👏 and I can actually support those whose goals might include homeownership.

Here are a few things about me:

• have you ever met one of those “purple ladies”? I’m one of those but with the color green 💚

• my favorite date night? Playing cards at Mulligans

• I’m totally, completely, over the moon about a 3rd grader I spend one hour a week reading and playing games with as part of a mentorship program I volunteer for. We are in our second school year together and I’m convinced hanging with her is the best thing I could ever do with my time.

• I’m an advocate for mental health awareness and practices and make a huge priority of this in my own life

• I’m fur mom to a 3 year old angel baby pup, and a 9 month old bouncy ball bernedoodle who the trainer says needs Prozac 🤣

• I love card games, hiking, disc golfing, and happy hours

• I’m a Scorpio, 1w9 enneagram, generator ruled by my sacral human design, quality time love language who doesn’t care for small talk✌️

Today I want to celebrate two amazing women I’ve had the privilege of welcoming home recently 👏

🌸Alleyna closed on the cutest home near the Fulton St Farmers Market. A property she can add instant value to and really make her own. It will require sweat equity, but no project is too daunting for Alleyna. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “meh, I can learn how to do that.” “Eh, I’ve got that!” Her bravery and security in her own abilities is seriously so amazing. Watching her transformation at this house will be so exciting!

🌻Amelia!!! Girl, we have been through it!! She was patient and strong and waited for the perfect house to come her way! Now she has a cozy, adorable farmhouse in Lowell to call her own. Amelia started looking for a house last Spring, when the market was especially tough for first time buyers. She made the tough call to watch the trends and jump back in when she knew it was the strongest time for HER to make HER investment. When you listen to your gut, it always pays off ten-fold. The home she ultimately found checked all of her boxes, for the right price, at the right time.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE a powerful young woman who knows what she wants and goes out to get it! Thank you to each of these ladies for allowing me the privilege of helping you reach the goal of homeownership! I’m in awe of you 🥹
