The Homebuilders Association hosted an incredible Build & Create event where kids got hands-on with the trades — hammering, drilling, designing, and discovering the magic of building. Huge thanks to the amazing volunteers from the building industry who patiently guided each child, sharing their skills and passion for construction. The future of the trades is looking bright! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

🌷 SOLD: A Journey of Healing, Hope, and New Beginnings
This closing wasn’t just about selling a house — it was about helping an incredible 80-year-old woman find peace and comfort after years of love, loss, and cherished memories within her longtime home.
Two years ago, her daughter wanted her to prepare for selling. But after losing her spouse, she wasn’t ready to let go. The home held too many memories, and she returned there almost daily to feel close to what once was. I stayed in touch, knowing the time would come when her heart would guide her forward.
Earlier this year, she shared how hard it had become to keep up with the expenses and maintenance — even cleaning other homes to cover costs. Together, we created a plan. Week by week, we sorted, packed, and made small improvements. I brought in helpers, and slowly, the weight began to lift.
Through our visits, we shared stories, laughs, and many hugs. As her family set up her new walk-out apartment at her daughter’s home — complete with some of her favorite lighting from her old house — she began to embrace her new chapter.
With fresh paint, a few updates, staging and beautiful photography, her home quickly caught the eye of buyers and went under contract the first weekend! Now, she can fully relax and enjoy her family without the stress of maintaining a home.
