5 weeks ago we had a client referred to us from a past client.
They were frustrated: "My husband and I have been looking for a house in earnest since this summer, but our current realtor hasn't really caught our vision or helped us too much."
For months, they were writing offers and losing. They were searching in the most competitive part of the GR real estate market - single family home in move in condition under $220k.
Living in a basement apartment with one child under 2 and another on the way, life was coming at them fast!
Working around Thanksgiving and Christmas, we showed them 5 houses & wrote 2 offers. Last night, we beat out 4️⃣4️⃣ competing buyers to win a phenomenal home in a great neighborhood UNDER their budget.
The Realtor you choose matters! Knowledge & experience are very important, but that's only the beginning. If you want to win in this market, you need an agent that is responsive, communicative, and knows how to mine for the details that matter in each scenario.
*Even though they were not under contract with their previous agent, we still made them have a conversation with that agent and explain why they were making a switch, which made for an amicable transition.
