A Michigan native after being born in Muskegon, Shy has a natural understanding of Michigan and the beauty within. During 2007, Shy relocated to Grand Rapids with the hopes of growing and establishing herself in a larger community. As a mother of three, two sons and a daughter, she understands the value of having a home for yourself and your family. After a short period in Arizona, she found herself longing for the lakes, community, and atmosphere of the Great Lakes state and moved back to Michigan. When Shy is not busy helping families find their forever home, you can find her as an active volunteer for Family Promise of West Michigan, a local non-profit organization ending homelessness one family at a time. Volunteering for this amazing organization, Shy found her passion for real estate and helping those in the community around her. After striving to complete her coursework and passing the Michigan Real Estate exam, her dreams of becoming a realtor turned into reality. Taking her perseverance and hard work ethic from studying to serving her community, she has been able to share her life experiences with those who are buying and selling a home. Truly a genuine, down to earth, and uplifting person, Shy continues to create a positive experience for those within her social circle, both in real estate and life. The dedication of a woman who understands the ups and downs within life has blossomed into a driven and respected real estate career.
