Yesterday was a lot in the best way.

Being named Best of Itasca is incredibly humbling, but what keeps sticking with me is how many people are wrapped up in something like this.

My clients who trust me with some really big life decisions.

The people who tell their friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, “Call Sara.”, my crew who keeps showing up to help me move stuff when I "don't have to" but it's the only way I know how to do business...

The agents who answer the phone, work through the weird stuff, negotiate hard, and help us all get deals across the finish line.

The lenders, title companies, inspectors, appraisers, contractors, photographers, businesses, friends, family, and everyone else who is part of making this job actually work.

And my people at Grand Properties Real Estate.
I am so thankful to have a brokerage where I can ask questions, bounce ideas around, get help when I need it, learn from people around me, and also just be myself. There is a whole lot that happens behind the scenes in real estate, and having good people around you matters more than I can explain.

This recognition may have my name on it, but there are a lot of people who helped me get here.

So truly, thank you.

🌹Okay, I’m going to acknowledge this one more time and then we can all move on. 😂

Tomorrow Grand Properties is hosting an open house from 11–1, and while having an event with my name and face plastered all over it is slightly outside my comfort zone… I really do appreciate the people who put it together and everyone who voted for me for Best of Itasca.

More importantly, it’s a good excuse to come check out the Grand Properties office, meet some of the people I get to work with, grab a specialty coffee from Heroes Rise Coffee Company, have some Borealis Creamery ice cream and hang out for a bit.

You absolutely do not need to be a client.

Friends, family, colleagues, past clients, future clients, community people, random people who just want coffee… come on in. 😂

🏡 TIP TUESDAY

If you’re buying or selling, don’t make a big decision based on something you think is true.

Ask.

Can that repair be negotiated?
Does that financing issue actually kill the deal?
Is that inspection item a major problem or just something that looks scary on paper?
Does a home need to be perfect before it hits the market?

A lot of real estate stress comes from assumptions.

My job is to help you figure out what actually matters, what can be solved, and what deserves a closer look.

Because not every issue is a dealbreaker, and not every “easy fix” is actually easy.
