After nearly two decades of serving the West Michigan community, we’ve made the difficult decision to close The Green Well on Cherry Street. As we approach the renewal of our lease, we have opted not to renew. The Green Well has been an amazing part of our story since it opened in 2007. It has become more than a restaurant—it’s been a gathering place, a neighborhood favorite, and a cornerstone of the dining scene in West Michigan. We are forever grateful to our team members who poured their hearts into The Green Well and to each of our guests who made it a part of their lives. As we turn the page, Essence Restaurant Group will officially become Essence Hospitality Group, focusing on our three core concepts: Bistro Bella Vita, Lucy’s, and grove.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making The Green Well a home for nearly two decades. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the Green Well’s final chapter over the coming week.
