Today I hope you will allow me to take a moment and share my grandma with you. She turns 101 today. As a young girl she would take me with her to nursing homes to entertain residents and we would make crafts to take them on holidays too. I’ve had the privilege to travel with her and learn about family history. She helped me with being the daycare for my kids when they were infants and toddlers. She taught me the value of family. She was the first woman on her city council, served on her library board and even was the secretary of her cemetery board into her 90s. Her compassion for people, perseverance after becoming a widow at 25, and commitment to community has helped me become who I am and even the realtor I am by focusing on service, relationships and hard work. Happy 101st Birthday Grandma!!! ♥️
