What some people think when I tell them I’m a Landlady:
Her parents must’ve been rich.
She inherited $.
She already knew someone in the biz.

Nope!!!
What really happened:
I was a Stay-at-home Mom with no college degree who wanted to continue to be available for my kids no matter what, so I:
- Got educated on what was possible for me!
- Read a crap-ton of books on how to become financially free. 📚 (Began with Rich Dad Poor Dad)
- Let Go of limiting thinking!!! 👍
- Read a crap-ton of books on how to invest in Real Estate 📚
- Reached out to people who were already in Real Estate and learned from them.
- Listened to hundreds of hours of podcasts on Real Estate and heard many inspiring stories!
- Believed I could do this no matter what my circumstances!
- Decided to start looking at properties and made a deadline for my first purchase.
- Made my first purchase partnering with my RE Agent for an off-market house with a loan from a family member. (I was prepared to borrow hard $ from a stranger at 15% if I had to!)
- Realized it was easier than I had made it out to be and bought another property a few months later! This started the snowball rolling on my way to becoming financially independent! 👍
- Worked on expanding my network by attending conferences and meet-ups!
- Paid for coaching and classes, oftentimes out of state.
- Continued my education…. Still to this day!!!
- Realize I really enjoy being a conscious housing provider who cares deeply about those I serve!
- No Win-Win? No Deal!!! 👍😃

Switched out a door handle and assessed the tree branch overhang situation at one of the houses. Trees are all really healthy but I’m thinking some trim-back is required here. Overall looking pretty good for winter! 👍
