Some sales come together quickly, and others take a little more time. This one was definitely a journey, and the smiles on our faces say it all!

It was such a privilege to walk alongside Ashley through this process. As she helped her mom transition to Florida, she handled every step with kindness, grace, and determination. Together, we worked to prepare the condo for the market, and we finally get to celebrate a successful closing!

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. My clients become so much more than transactions—they become people I genuinely care about. I’m continually amazed by the way God orchestrates each client and every transaction, allowing me the opportunity to serve others during important seasons of life 💛

Luxury real estate in Kent and Ottawa Counties continued to show impressive momentum in May ✨

The top 10% threshold held just under the $1M mark at $975,000, creating more opportunities for homes to qualify as luxury inventory.

📈 Closed luxury sales jumped 59% month-over-month, with 43 transactions closing in May.
📋 Pending sales climbed 47%, reaching 63 transactions.
💰 Median luxury sale prices remained remarkably steady around $1.34M–$1.35M.
🏡 Active luxury inventory expanded significantly, growing by 42 listings to 141 available homes.

What does it all mean?

Demand remains strong, but inventory is growing faster than we’ve seen in recent months. For buyers, that’s welcome news—more choices and opportunities in the luxury market. For sellers, pricing continues to hold firm, signaling a healthy and balanced market.

From April to May:
🏡 Inventory increased 8%
🔥 Buyer activity surged 38%
💰 Median prices increased
⏱️ Homes continued selling in just 6 days

Normally, more homes on the market means things start to slow down. Not this time.

Buyers are absorbing new inventory as quickly as it hits the market, keeping competition strong and prices moving up.

Some local highlights:
📍 Forest Hills: +45% sales activity and +14% price growth
📍 Rockford: More sales, higher prices, and faster closings

Sometimes my office looks a little different ☕🏡
