When Taco Bell gets it” with bathroom design. I had been touring homes with buyer clients, and we saw several with beautiful black and white patterned tile floors (right photo). When I stopped at Taco Bell for dinner and saw this aesthetic (left photo) I had to take a pic….and immediately send it to the buyer clients 😂 Where have you seen photo worthy public bathrooms in West Michigan?

This outdoor oasis will soon belong to my buyer clients. We had three whirlwind days of showings, and were about to call it a day when this little gem popped up and happened to be having an open house while we were on our tour of homes. We went to take a look, and they immediately fell in love with this meticulously maintained outdoor entertainment area. Through some quick thinking, a lot of negotiations, and an amazing listing agent to work with on the other side of the transaction, we got this one under contract. Here’s to the next steps in them making this their home!

Perks of having a teenager learning to drive when you’re a Realtor….your kid is your chauffeur to your client appointments and you have an excuse to get drinks from McDonald’s on the way home. After all, she has to practice going through the drive-thru, right?

This closing was a celebration! After a year of my buyer client working diligently to save money, become an educated home buyer, and searching for "the one", they found what they thought was going to be their home -- and due to circumstances outside their control, the deal fell through.

The search continued. Lots of showings, a few offers that were beat out in multiple offer situations, a lot of frustration, but never a loss of hope.

Finally this one popped up that checked all the boxes....3 bedrooms, a big yard, outdoor space to relax, updated interior, functional basement, not too far of a commute from work, and under budget!

The offer was submitted, negotiations took place, we endured a long wait for the approval on the city's point of sale inspection requirement, and now this buyer has a place to call home.
