🏡 What's going on in the West Michigan market right now!?

Honestly? People keep asking us this, so let's just talk about it for a sec.

Home values are still going up around here (that part hasn't changed). But the crazy stuff from a couple years ago, where houses were gone in a day with ten offers? That's calmed down a lot. Not saying this has stopped completely, but it's definitely not happening as often as it was even last summer! There are more homes on the market than there were last year, which means buyers finally get a little room to breathe and actually think things through.

If you're selling, good news: homes that are priced right and look good are still moving. The ones sitting? Usually a pricing thing, not a "nobody wants to buy houses" thing.

So no, it's not 2022 anymore. But it's also not the doom-and-gloom stuff you might be seeing online. It's just... a more normal market. Which honestly might be a good thing.
