Heading into June in Grand Rapids, here's where the numbers sit.
Across the Greater Grand Rapids metro, the average single-family home is selling for $384,376 year-to-date, and homes are going under contract in about 22 days. Inventory is still tight at roughly 1.1 months of supply. Competitive, but not frantic.
What that means for the rest of us:
If you're thinking about selling this summer, buyer demand is steady and well-priced homes are moving quickly, but pricing right out of the gate matters more than anything.
If you're buying, you're not chasing a runaway market. You're navigating a steady one. The right home, found patiently, is still the right move.
If you're staying put, your equity has likely grown more than you realize.
We're happy to talk through any of it! No pressure, no pitch. Just neighbors who happen to know this market well.
