As a Realtor in the Detroit Metro area for over 20 years, I have started over in the Grand Rapids area and opened my own company "Yonkers Realty". I have two great associates - Jackie Groters and Robin Calkins. They both joined me this past year and I'm excited to have them. I have worked not only with the public side but as a Board Member I spent many years working with the Realtor community working on many committees. I helped with the researching and choosing of a new MLS system, along with the training that followed. I sat on the grievance committee, The Board of Realtors and became the 1999 Dearborn Area Realtor of the Year. I have also worked as a Trainer and Recruiter for Coldwell Banker and Relocation Director at Century 21. After relocating to the Grand Rapids area, I thought about going on another career path, however, Real Estate has pulled me back in to doing what I love to do - working with people! I take pride in providing the best customer service possible in this world where it seems to be lacking these days. I love using my knowledge and experience and helping people realize their dreams of of buying their first home or moving up the next. We have officially broke ground on an exciting new project for one of our long-time trade partners. There is something especially meaningful about being entrusted to lead the development and construction of a project for someone who works in our industry every day and understands what it takes to deliver a successful outcome.
