Home buying took me to beautiful Traverse City today. Tons of entertainment, I stumbled across a carnival downtown right on the water. Plenty of sunshine and good food . Meet Mr. Scott Dobbins, he is one of my little brothers best friends.. I've known him forever. For the record he has the most amazing lawn service company, and he handles my homes. A few years ago I sold him a small home, we needed to start somewhere. I told him I would not rest until I found a home I knew he would be comfortable in for the next phase of his life. He said ok Gayle and purchased the small home. Searching for a larger home for him never left my mind. 5 years later I saw what I knew he would love. I was on my way out of state to handle another move, but houses in Grand Rapids go so quickly, I knew he needed to let me know that same day. He arranged to come by take a quick look and go back home. I headed to my plane and was out. He text me later, "Gayle.. I love it, I was not even thinking about moving" I told him I made a promise and I never stopped thinking about it. Long story short, we took care of everything within a week the new home was secured. It is everything I knew he needed, things moved so quickly, and what I need to say is... he has always trusted me to take care of him! He allowed me to make sure his housing needs were handled. I'm thanking you Scott, and am so happy that you are in your new home, I love it for you! 🏡🏡 !! !! 💙🏡💙

Welcoming Miss Sierra to the world of homeownership 🥰🏡 After Thanksgiving she said, let's start looking in March, then the very next day she sent me an address of a house she saw.. needless to say she was so excited we started looking right away. Found a house she loved, and closed before New Years! She said she makes these baskets custom.. with whatever you wish.. I asked her to send me some photos of a few of the baskets she has done. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Alisa Carter of the National Association of Business and Professional Women for inviting me to share a brief presentation on one of our community programs. Our office was established under the leadership of City Manager Mark Washington, and I was honored to present alongside my Director, Brandon Davis, JD.
The information we share is essential, as the Office of OPA offers several programs designed to support and strengthen our community. I appreciated the thoughtful questions from attendees regarding our trainings. One program of interest is Community Informed Training, (CIT) which was developed in response to community requests and focuses on helping public safety entities better show up for the communities they serve.

I'm sending a shout out to both of these ladies! First my client who showed trust the entire way! A first time home owner, she had a lot of questions, and as an agent, I will always be there for those questions. Purchasing a home is an emotional and sometimes draining Journey. Then you go through the mortgage experience, tedious, seemingly long and never ending. Shout out here to one of my lenders who will also be there for you and with you every step of the way.
