What's your opinion? We normally run hardwoods all the way through except for bathrooms. For this flip, we went with laminate flooring.

With that in mind, trying to decide whether or not to put tile in this space for durability. I don't want to do a rectangle at the front door but thought it might be cool to use tile to create a foyer in this entire space from the wall to the stair railing.

So what say you... should we continue with the laminate or tile this area?

When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here!

We love the redemptive aspect of rehabbing houses. As believers, the concept of making old things new is especially meaningful to us.

On this project, we removed a door and a window. Replaced them with double doors. Fresh drywall and paint on the walls. Fresh paint on the ceiling including the beams and on the fireplace. Removed light fixture. Added recessed lighting. Currently installing flooring.

Lord willing, this beauty will hit the market in February.🏠💕

Working out the design for the family room. Love the wood beams and skylights. Already took down wood paneling on the walls and removed drywall in preparation to remove a wall and open up the space. Trying to decide what we want to do with the fireplace. Any suggestions?
