Today is National Employee Appreciation Day! If you're a contractor with our company, you know our employees are incredibly bright, professional and efficient every single day. We'd be nothing without them! To show tangible appreciation, we're buying lunch and coffee(s) for each employee in the form of $25 today. If you've appreciated our staff- make sure to let them know frequently, but especially today!

Happy President's Day!! Our offices are open and we know our reps are out there doing great work even on this banking holiday! in the spirit of the day, we're giving away some "Presidents" in the forms of currency today! Any order that is processed today WITHOUT going to follow up will result in the rep getting one of our favorite Presidents, Abe Lincoln! ($5). We're also doing similar contests and such for our employees throughout the day. Let's have a safe and productive week doing great things for the clients and neighborhoods we serve!

Just had a chat with a contractor who has been with us for over 3 years and we were both so excited that our client had approved some much needed repairs on a home that a neighbor had been wanting to see improved for some time. I believe great business is always done with a "win/win" mentality, and it was great to see our client, the home and the neighborhood all benefiting from JD Wicks Co work!

Our company works extremely hard to be fair to the people we work with. We pay our people, try to do the right thing and feel like that is the best way to do business. I love so much that we have contractors who operate the same way. I had a rep reach out to me today notifying that he was OVERPAID on an order. Moral of the story- good business breeds good business!

A few weeks ago, I asked our reps to send in photos showing us some of their best "lines". While we work on vacant properties primarily, we take the same pride that we would with our own homes with each property we service. These grass lines show that. I'm guessing you wouldn't think these are "foreclosed" properties- well that's the whole idea! Each contractor featured will receive a bonus for their help as well. We wanted to show off some work from Josh K in Southern Indiana. Check out this . I loved hearing that the neighbors were thrilled to see this as well. With the summer season winding down, I thought we'd do a quick post of some of the best exterior work completed over the past few weeks! Summer months make grass, shrubs and trees go pretty wild, and neighbors, clients and communities are thankful we are here to keep them in check!
