For some designers, starting with the art is the most compelling way to create a cohesive and dynamic scheme. Colours can be drawn out of paintings, anything from contemporary works to traditional portraits, and infuse the whole room.
Shapes and forms can also be drawn from artworks and translated into your interior scheme.

Here I have created 5 different design inspos using art as the focal point of the inspiration.

Mediterranean coastal interior design blends sun-washed European charm with breezy seaside living, featuring key elements like a warm earthy palette, coastal blues, textured plaster walls, and natural organic materials. This style creates a calm, open-air sanctuary inspired by the southern coasts of Europe.

Here I have created a design inspiration featuring the Crate and Barrel’s Unwind modular sectional, and pulling colors and inspiration from a Coastal Mediterranean Town art painting.

Being versatile is vital for an interior designer because it allows them to adapt to diverse client tastes, manage shifting project budgets, and transition smoothly between residential and commercial spaces.
Different Tastes: Every client has a unique vision. A versatile designer can switch from modern minimal styles to warm, traditional looks without missing a beat.

Here I have veered away from my last few more feminine design inspirations, and created a more masculine office setting featuring the Sauder- Clifford place desk and Misty Glens wallpaper.
