2018 - New Adventure Begins Now

Pleasanton, CA — January 4, 2018 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Signature Properties. The brokerage represents the 53rd location opened in California for the NextHome franchise.

Based in Granite Bay, the company will be owned and operated by real estate broker and top-selling REALTOR®, Debbie Mitchell. NextHome Signature Properties will provide real estate services such as single family residential sales, first-time home buyers, multi-family properties, condo sales, and investment sales to the areas of Placer, El Dorado, Sacramento, Yolo, Sutter, and Yuba counties.

Granite Bay is a suburb located in Placer County just outside of Sacramento and is home to 20,000 residents.

Starting her real estate career in 1999, Mitchell has been a top-producing REALTOR® in the Sacramento region for nearly two decades.

picked up the business quickly selling 10 homes in her first six months as a REALTOR®. From that point forward, she built her business by referral and has been selling over $10 million in sales annually ever since.

From 2008 to 2013, Mitchell averaged over 100 transactions per year.

“I work really hard to cultivate relationships with my clients before the sale,” said Mitchell. “For me, it’s people before paychecks.”

After working for 18 years at a local franchised office, Mitchell was ready to go out on her own and open a brokerage under the NextHome brand.

“After a lot of thought and preparation, it was time for me to open my own company and create a positive environment for career-oriented REALTORS®,” said Mitchell. “NextHome Signature Properties will be a brokerage where an agent’s voice will be heard and they will be supported.”

“I want our agents to feel like a valued person in addition to being a valued agent,” added Mitchell.

Ironically, Mitchell found the NextHome franchise doing what she does best – helping a client. “I happened to go to an open house with my buyer and saw the NextHome sign and the little dog next to the sign,” recalled Mitchell. “Later that night, I did some research about the company and loved what I saw with the technology and the energy from the NextHome Corporate staff. When the time came to open my own company, I knew NextHome was the right fit for me.”

When not selling real estate, Mitchell and her husband of 35 years, Steve, enjoy heading to their cabin in Blue Canyon and spending time outdoors. The couple have two children, one grandchild and another grandchild due May 2018.
