8/10/24 update: with an ADDITIONAL dumping of 6 kittens with ringworm/upper respiratory infections yesterday, our critical care caseload increases to 41 animals. This means our entire facility is shut down for yet another day while our staff assesses these additional animals. We will be closed to the public today. If you are wanting to donate items or adopt our available animals, please call ahead (541-479-5154) so that our staff and volunteers can make an appointment with you. Thank you all for the support you are providing us during this difficult time. We appreciate it so much. More updates on these animals will be provided in the days to come.

The expenses will continue for a while. Many of these animals have serious infections. Going forward, we have calculated that it could cost in the range of $4500 to spay and neuter all animals. If you haven't yet, please consider donating to help us with these expenses. We get NO funding from taxes, only through fundraising, grants and donations. Thank you so much!!
