Today, we honor and celebrate the extraordinary life of Dolly Parton.

Dolly shared her light generously through her music, kindness, and unwavering dedication to literacy. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she opened doors to knowledge and possibility for children everywhere.

Here in Josephine County, 197,497 books have been mailed to 6,369 children under the age of five since 2018.

Her legacy will continue to live on through every book opened, every story shared, and the timeless music that will inspire generations to come.

Today, we celebrate Dolly by taking some time to read. Thank you, Dolly, for sharing your light with the world.
