January 4th marked my 40 Year Anniversary in the Real Estate Business! To celebrate we tore the office apart, and the yarn shop and Moved the Office to the Back of the Building. 😂😂Very Easy Access from the Public Parking Lot now, and plenty of Signs pointing you in the right direction. We love our new office and the expanded yarn shop. Nancy Greene and I have worked together in the Real Estate Business for 20 of those years. We are both Licensed Real Estate Brokers in Vermont and Nancy is an Associate Broker in NY and I am the Broker. We all have smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, but did you know that they make alarms for propane leaks. An incident occurred which pushed me to search to see if they made such things. I may be amongst the few who didn’t know about these, but I thought it was important to share. If you have a propane/ natural gas stove, fireplace , furnace, etc., it makes sense to have one of these detectors in your kitchen, near your furnace room or fireplace, just in case an unlit burner gets bumped and turned on without the flame, or you have a leak and you’re unaware of it. My safety tip for the day.

1/4/2023 marked the end of the 39th year that I’ve had my NYS Real Estate License. ( In 2001 I also got my VT Real Estate License) This past year was a banner year and in the midst of it I took 90 + hours of education and will receive my GRI designation in a couple weeks. Graduate of Realtor Institute. It wasn’t something that I had to do it was something I wanted to do to, in order to stay up on the future of real estate. I heard from some people that a couple people were saying that I’ve closed the office, and I’m not doing real estate anymore. Nothing could be further from the truth. If all goes well, my plan is to be in business for at least another 10 years. Yes, I do run another business, in the same building, and for the past almost 8 years this has worked very well. No plans to change this either. Because of Covid, which created many more technological advancements, we work out of the office, more than inside the office. We’re very flexible.
