Today, my second-born son took the oath and officially began his journey toward becoming a **United States Marine**.

Watching him raise his right hand was one of those moments I'll never forget. As a parent, you spend years hoping you've prepared your children to step into adulthood with courage, integrity, and purpose. Today, I saw all of those qualities reflected back.

Son, I couldn't be more proud of the young man you've become. Your family will be cheering you on every step of the way as you begin this incredible journey of service to our country.

Sometimes the most important meetings don’t happen in a boardroom.
