I wanted to share what I've been up to this week. We got to explore Lake Shasta Caverns and Lava Beds National Monument, and what an adventure it was!

I’m so grateful that we get to be part of a school that gives our kids opportunities like this, getting outside the classroom, exploring, and learning hands-on about the world around them.

River goes to an expeditionary learning charter school here in Grass Valley, and it really is such a special school to be a part of.

This trip was definitely challenging at times, but looking back, I’m so grateful for the experience and for all the memories we get to make together. These are the kinds of adventures I know we’ll remember for years to come. ❤️

It’s always such a special time at the Nevada County Fair! 🎡✨ Until next year!

We had so much fun making memories, watching the kids have a blast, enjoying all the fair food (especially the cinnamon rolls 🤤), and soaking up everything that makes our community so special.
