Thursday, September 10th, Nevada City held its second public workshop to update their Housing Element. REALTOR Association President Chris Ring and CEO Kathy Hinman participated in the table discussions to help determine housing needs and appropriate placement and zoning. REALTORS encourage local citizens to engage in upcoming Nevada County Housing Element Updates at the county and city levels. Last week our local REALTOR Association President-Elect Meg Curry (Rt) met with DRE Commissioner Chika Sunquist (Ctr) who oversees 430K CA R.E. licensees and C.A.R. State President Tamara Suminski (Lft) who presides over a membership of over 190K REALTORS to discuss the direction our industry is headed at a regional luncheon.
